Prineville plane crash victim identified

The pilot of the crashed aircraft Sunday near Prineville airport was identified by Prineville Police Department as Murray Allen Crowe, 47, of Terrebonne.Crowe was pronounced dead at the scene after crashing an experimental Challenger II aircraft around 11:30 a. m., according to reports in The Bulletin.

Knifing suspect arrested

The suspect in a late-night downtown Bend knifing was arrested Friday by Bend Police.Diondre A. Dolbin, 22, of Bend, faces charges of second-degree assault, first-degree attempted assault, unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault and menacing.Just before 2:30 a. m. Friday, police were called to the area of Northwest Oregon Avenue and Northwest Brooks Street.

This land is now covered with a fine growth of yellow pine timber, but people of that section have examined the soil and, believing it capable of producing good crops, have made applications for homesteads.

Summer Herringer and Cory Ryan, both of Bend, plan to marry Sept. 14 at Faith, Hope and Charity Vineyard in Terrebonne.The future bride is the daughter of Shawn Herringer and Kathy Glidewell, of Redmond. She is a 2005 graduate of Redmond High School and a 2008 graduate of Central Oregon Community College, where she studied massage therapy.
