At Springfield Public Schools’ Brattain House, families find support and referrals for essential services. Homeless children get what they need to ensure them access to a good education. And low-income kids and their parents or guardians can “shop” for free donated clothing, backpacks and school supplies.

Foundation gives grant to schools The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation has awarded a three-year, $450,000 grant that will allow the Springfield School District to move forward with planning its Springfield Immersion Program for Teacher Preparation, a district-based teacher licensure program.
