SPRINGFIELD — Two 17-year-old Springfield males were arrested today after Springfield police received numerous calls from east Springfield residents reporting that their vehicles had been broken into last night. Numerous items were reported stolen, including at least one firearm.
Eugene police arrested a suspected bank robber shortly after the late-morning heist. The suspect was turned over to FBI officials to face potential federal charges. His name was not immediately released. The robbery was reported at 11:55 a.m. at a Pacific Continental Bank branch at 1450 High St., police said.
