Tillamook County woman dies when car goes into river

TILLAMOOK, Ore. — Authorities say a 22-year-old Tillamook County woman on her way home from her boyfriend’s house has died after her car went into the Nestucca River. The sheriff’s office says divers found the car upside down in the river 25 to 30 feet from the bank.

SPRINGFIELD — A 25-year old Springfield man has been charged with first-degree assault after allegedly stabbing his brother outside an apartment complex Saturday night, Springfield police said. Police responded at 7:48 p.m. to a report of a stabbing at 4885 A St.
