The Neighborhood House Clothes Closet will be participating in Downtown Rochester's Sidewalk Sales this year July 12-14. The organization will be set up in front of D'Marcos Italian Restaurant, on the corner of 4th and Main Street. The Neighborhood House Clothes Closet offers clothing, accessories and households items at a fraction of the prices at other stores.

Oakland Community Health Network welcomes new CEO

Oakland Community Health Network welcomed its new CEO and Executive Director Annette Downey on Monday. In this role, Downey will lead Oakland Community Health Network in the oversight and management of Oakland County's public mental health system. The Board of Directors selected Downey as the new CEO in April of this year.

Woman, 69 drowns in pool in Oak Park

Police say an Oak Park woman drowned in her family's built-in pool on Wednesday night.Oak Park Public Safety Lt. Troy Taylor said police are not releasing the identity of the 69-year-old woman at this point.The incident happened at the woman's home in the 24000 block of Spencer."There are no signs of foul play," Taylor said, adding the woman's body was discovered by her husband.
