The latest episode of the History Channel’s new series The Bible drew an uncomfortable buzz when some viewers noticed the character of Satan seemed to resemble President Barack Obama. Twitter erupted with observations Sunday evening, including one from conservative personality Glenn Beck, who previously instituted a personal ban on uttering the president’s name, but couldn’t keep himself from noting the similarity between the character and “that guy.”

Matt Lauer told advertisers Thursday that he wants to get the "Today" show back to being the most watched and least talked about morning show on television, and that he expects to do it.

The "Veronica Mars" Kickstarter campaign to raise $2 million to bring the TV detective to the big screen easily passed its goal Wednesday evening, with more pledges still coming in. The project passed its goal without even being live for 24 hours of its planned 30-day run. The perennially prickly anchor has reportedly settled the $50 million lawsuit he filed upon his termination from Current one year ago. Deadline Hollywood says Olbermann will walk away with a “significant payout,” but the exact amount won’t be known until someone leaks it.

The price may not be right in this case. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered a new trial Tuesday in the lawsuit brought by former "Price is Right" model Brandi Cochran, who was awarded nearly $8.5 million.
