MARCUS HOOK >> Adelphia Gateway LLC., a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, wants to repurpose a pipeline that ends in Marcus Hook to deliver natural gas.After conducting a binding open season, Adelphia Gateway LLC has filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to authorize the acquisition, construction and operation of an existing 84-mile pipeline and related facilities here in Pennsylvania.

 

Local woman sues Kohl's over false theft claim

PHILADELPHIA >> A former Kohl's employee has filed a federal lawsuit alleging the retailer and a loss-prevention officer falsely accused her of theft, resulting in $10,000 worth of lawyer fees and more than a year of legal wrangling before the case was dismissed.Valerie Ann Deorio is alleging claims for malicious prosecution, false arrest and wrongful imprisonment, as well as defamation and wrongful termination in a complaint filed last month in the U.

 

Chester man guilty in 2016 rape of teenage girl

REPORT: Nine people injured in Upper Chichester fire

According to a report on 6abc.com, at least nine people were hurt in an overnight in Upper Chichester.The fire started around 4 a.m. Thursday on the 3100 block of Rodney Avenue.The fire has been placed under control.
