100 Years Ago - 1918: This is moving day for the Chester Police Department. Superintendent of Public Property John S. Miller informed Chief of Police John Vance this morning that everything is ready for the occupation of the new quarters and shortly after 1 o'clock the "moving brigade" started to carry the furniture and other paraphernalia to the new station house.

Jury convicts man of tossing heroin from car during Blue Route chase

NORRISTOWN >> An Allentown man was convicted of drug-related charges in connection with an incident along Route 476 in Plymouth during which he tossed bricks of heroin from a vehicle in which he was a passenger at the time of a chase by police.Enrique Martinez-Torres, 36, of the 600 block of 11th Street, was convicted by a jury in Montgomery County Court of charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, conspiracy and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the November 2017 incident along Route 476, or the Blue Route, in Plymouth.

 

Radnor police reports: 2 admit to pulling on car doors, stealing change at Radnor House Condos

THEFT FROM CAR>> Radnor police reported that two female juveniles admitted to pulling on car door handles and entering a Jeep Wrangler before taking change Aug. 10. According to police, a resident at Radnor House Condos on East Lancaster Avenue in Rosemont reported seeing two people entering vehicles in the parking lot.

Cooper Series and continues the "Featured Artist Series," now in its second year.The season kicks off with a performance by Ren#xe9;e Elise Goldsberry, winner of the Tony Award, Grammy Award, Drama Desk Award, and Lucille Lortel Award for her performance off and on Broadway in the musical phenomenon Hamilton Sept.
