Providence Animal Center Pet of the Week: Jordan

1-year-old male Domestic Shorthair blend Meet Jordan, the handsome cat man who is looking for a special, loving forever home who will show him how it feels to finally be loved. Jordan is all-grey, with dark yellow eyes. He was rescued from a local overcrowded shelter and brought to Providence Animal Center in Media, formerly the Delco SPCA, where he is making the best of his stay until someone gives him a forever life.

My name is Benson. I am an adult chihuahua and a dainty guy at about 6-pounds. I have been in foster care awhile because I do need "just that right home." An experienced chi home is necessary as I just have that "chi attitude" sometimes, and other times I am just as sweet as can be. I can live with other nice dogs, no cats for me, and a mature home would be best, but I do like when respectable kids visits.

VANDALISM >> Radnor Public Works reported to police April 26 at 5:09 a.m. that someone caused flooding at the Sulpizio Gym on South Wayne Avenue in Wayne by clogging the sinks in the men's bathroom. Significant flooding was found in the bathroom and locker room. The front lobby of the gym was also damaged.

Montco man admits to $300K theft from grandmother, radio host Mary Mason's savings

NORRISTOWN >> A Pottstown man has probation, a hefty restitution bill and community service helping the elderly in his future after he admitted to stealing more than $300,000 from his grandmother, well-known Philadelphia radio personality Mary Mason.Calvin Steven Turner IV, 34, of the 800 block of South Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 10 years of probation after he pleaded guilty to two felony theft-related charges in connection with the theft that prosecutors claim left Mason, a former WHAT radio host of "Mornings with Mary," destitute.
