After getting about 4 inches of snow Friday and Saturday, McHenry County-area residents can expect a drier Sunday.
National Weather Service meteorologist Eric Lenning said there were 1 to 2 inches of snow as of 7 a.m. Saturday in the southeastern part of McHenry County, while the northwest part of the county saw about 4 inches.
“We were kind of calling for generally 3 to 5 in the higher amounts, and obviously less in some areas,” he said.
