KINGSPORT — There was another slugfest at Hunter Wright Stadium on Monday. Like heavyweight boxers slugging it out, the Danville Braves and Kingsport Mets threw one offensive punch after another. In the end, Danville was left standing with an 11-7 Appalachian League win. The game featured a combined 28 hits, including five home runs. The win ended a five-game losing streak for the Braves (20-32).
