STAMFORD-The theft of computers at NBC Sports Group headquarters led to the Texas extradition of the group’s former mailroom manager, police said.

Property Crimes Sgt. Steve Perrotta said that NBC Sports made a complaint to the police department in January 2014 when they did an audit and realized that some electronic devices had been stolen by Schmidt, who had been hired by an outside contractor to manage the mail room.

STAMFORD-Police are looking for three teenagers believed to be responsible for a rash of car break-ins in Springdale that in just one car resulted in the theft of about $850 in cash from one woman early Tuesday morning.

After unlocking the car and getting in, the first thing she did was reach for a small purse containing her wallet that she has had a habit of stuffing under the passenger seat.
