Mercy Fitz hit with $3M verdict in fatal-fall case

MEDIA COURTHOUSE >> A Delaware County jury has awarded the family of 84-year-old James DeGeorge $3 million in damages for a fatal fall at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in 2015."We had a strong case with a really nice family and the jury saw how simple it would have been to have prevented Mr. DeGeorge's fall if they had used a chair alarm," stated attorney Laura E.

Delaware County D.A. seeks justice, informed by her childhood experience in revolutionary Iran

Copeland, 50, was appointed as the Delaware County district attorney in January by the Board of Judges after the former D.A., Jack Whelan, was elected to a seat on the bench."I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer," said Copeland, a Radnor resident.
