Radnor Police Reports: Vandalism on Glenbrook Avenue; Computer items stolen from Micro Center

VANDALISM>> Radnor police received a report that someone spray painted graffiti on the side of a building on Glenbrook Avenue in Bryn Mawr. The damage was discovered June 24.THEFT FROM CAR>> Radnor police received a report of a theft of a driver's license and a small amount of cash that was left inside a car parked between June 21 to June 22 on Wooton Road in Bryn Mawr.

Delco seeks public input on health study

Delaware County is seeking input from the community regarding its upcoming health assessment.County council plans to have an accredited institution of higher learning undertake a study of the delivery of health and public services in Delaware County.A similar one was conducted in 2009 when county council engaged the Bloomberg School of Public Health of Johns Hopkins University to develop a Profile of Health and Public Health Services for Delaware County.

 

Middletown eyes moving Granite Run debris to Smedley Park

MIDDLETOWN >> Middletown Township Council Monday night will consider allowing fill material from the construction at the Promenade at Granite Run to be taken to a park under development to make way for trails and playing fields.Middletown Township Council Chairman Mark Kirchgasser explained the governing body will be considering allowing BET Investments to move clean fill from the construction site off Route 1 to the Smedley facility off Rose Tree Road.

Worker presses war of words with Bryn Mawr Trust

An Upper Darby woman who previously filed a claim with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleging discrimination and wage violations against Bryn Mawr Trust Corp. has now sent notice through her attorney of a pending derivative lawsuit for breach of fiduciary duties to shareholders.

TIME TO REVOLT?Many property owners in the state are being crushed by school property taxes. We have been begging for tax relief for years and yet nothing gets done. I have a suggestion for our state legislators in Harrisburg: Just tell them that there will be a bonus in it for them. Watch how quickly they act on it.
