LIMA — For most people, Labor Day represents a day off work, or at least a recognition of the work that they do. The West Central Ohio-Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO is in charge of Lima’s parade. The parade begins at 10 a.m. Monday with the theme, “Organized Labor — Giving Workers a Voice, Giving Families A Better Life.”
“We try not to emphasize organized labor, but all working men and women,” said Jeff Kranz, president of The West Central Ohio-Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO.
