Snow, flooding expected in spring nor’easter

A springtime nor’easter is barreling into storm-strained New England, threatening coastal flooding, up to a foot of snow in some areas and high-wind conditions that could trigger another round of widespread power outages.The deepest snow is expected to fall in Plymouth, where 8 to 12 inches is forecast. Boston should see 6 to 8 inches, with the slim possibility of up to a foot, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a winter storm warning until 8 a.m. tomorrow.

 

Mother to daughter’s murderer: ‘I forgive him’

Rogue cyclist spotted in O’Neill Tunnel Sunday afternoon

A wayward commuter lit up social media for his reckless underground trek in the Thomas P. “Tip” O’Neill Jr. Tunnel on a bicycle.He moved at a decent clip and appeared to exit Interstate 93 safely late Sunday afternoon, according to video footage of his journey and transportation officials. One car was seen veering to the left to avoid him.“It happens on occasion. Sometimes we see coyotes in the tunnels, sometimes bikers,” a MassDOT official told the Herald.
