He said the driver and one passenger escaped without serious injuries, while the other passenger was declared dead at the scene. Barnes added that, as of 9:30 a.m., the crash was still being investigated by police and that it was too soon to say whether speed or other factors contributed to the crash. A man was ejected from his truck and died Friday night after losing control of the vehicle and striking the roadway median, according to Commerce City police.
