Headlines over the past week have been dominated by a fiery, often bitter fight, and we’re not just talking about Obama vs. Romney. We're talking about the nasty feud between “American Idol” judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Behind-the-scenes audition video showed the young rapper ripping Carey with scathing remarks like "off with your head" and "I will knock you out.” The jaw-dropping outburst prompted Carey to tell Barbara Walters that Minaj went as far as to threaten to shoot her, which reportedly resulted in Carey hiring extra security.

According to Hogan (actual name: Terry Bollea), he was at a "friend's house" when the incident occurred, and "I had no idea there was a camera in the room." Things weren't going so great for the mustachioed wrestler back then; he admitted he was at a "very low point" when he was filmed without his knowledge, but added, "I'm not making excuses, I'm accountable, I was the guy, I was there, I made the choice."

Hulk Hogan is reportedly in the process of sending a cease-and-desist letter to Gawker for posting video of the wrestler having sex with a woman rumored to be the wife of Hogan’s best friend, the radio personality dubbed Bubba the Love Sponge. Gawker says it received the footage through an anonymous source who did not seek payment. Hogan’s lawyer says if they don’t remove it, there will be a lawsuit. And I say, when a guy named Bubba the Love Sponge is even tangentially involved, isn’t this sort of thing inevitable?

Sons of Anarchy actor Johnny Lewis fell to his death from a building in Los Angeles – moments after he allegedly beat his landlady, an 81-year-old woman, to death, authorities say. Lewis, 28, who played Kip "Half-Sack" Epps on the FX show and who once dated Katy Perry, was found lying in a driveway in the Los Feliz neighborhood near Hollywood on Wednesday, while a woman identified as Catherine Davis was found dead of apparently blunt force trauma inside the building.

Herbert Lom, the Czech-born actor best known as Inspector Clouseau's long-suffering boss in the "Pink Panther" movies, died Thursday, his son said. He was 95.

It’s been a big week for Shakira, who also was named one of the replacement hosts for “The Voice.”
