Three Orlando charities struggle to stay open

At a time of year when Central Floridians are bombarded by requests for charitable giving, you won't find anything in your mailbox or on your answering machine from one of the oldest charities in the region — The Russell Home for Atypical Children. Created in 1951 to house kids and adults with severe intellectual and physical disabilities, the venerable charity has long had a policy against marketing.
