A woman was killed and two men were injured Saturday night in a string of stabbings along 16th Street Mall in Denver’s Central Business District. All three stabbings happened on 16th Street between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Denver Police Department said in a news release. Officers first responded to a stabbing in the 700 block of 16th Street, near California Street, around 5:20 p.m., police said in the news release. Police said paramedics took an unidentified woman to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Two other nonfatal stabbings are under investigation: one that happened near 16th Street and Lawrence Street around 5:56 p.m.
