A Denver pedestrian was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash near Empower Field, according to the police department. Police first posted on social media about the crash, which happened at the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and Federal Boulevard, at 7:59 p.m. Saturday. At that point, the pedestrian had been taken to the hospital with serious injuries. In a Sunday morning update, police said the pedestrian died overnight. No suspects have been identified in the crash and police said the investigation is ongoing.
