When Norwalk police rolled up to the scene, they found Presley Nau giving CPR to a gunshot victim lying in the street, according to Nau’s arrest warrant.
Inside the backpack, police found Nau’s cell phone, a 9 mm semiautomatic pistol loaded with 6 bullets, a white mask, a black skully, a G2 drink bottle and a Sesame Street baseball cap.
Police had the contents of the bag analyzed and a year later found that Nau’s DNA was a match for the mask, But the DNA found on the gun, the baseball cap and the G2 drink bottle were mixtures of DNA.
