Jonna Hayden of the Arts Community Costume Studio in Springfield was costume designer for the Eugene Ballet Co.’s production of “Mowgli: The Jungle Book Ballet.” Ashleah Bullock of Springfield was hired by Hayden to provide color renderings of the show’s costumes.

A passing motorist said nine people were assaulting another person at a park’s basketball court. 1Burglary: 4:20 p.m., 900 block Lochaven Avenue. Someone entered a residence through a garage window, stealing jewelry and rummaging through dressers.

 

Emerald wins comfortably at Oregon Relays

Jonathan Emerald appears to have found his comfort zone along the Hayward Field runway. In what’s been known as a somewhat challenging venue for young track and field athletes, particularly jumpers, Emerald seems to have mastered his craft with a few years of experience at the site.
