Obamacare’s danger The Democrats that “gave” us the “Affordable Care Act” remind me of the old story of the frog in the kettle. You know the one — a frog is put in a kettle of cold water over a hot fire.

Incidents FRIDAY, MARCH 15 Suspicious conditions: 1:58 p.m., 600 block Q Street. A gas station employee noticed a driver had an open container of an alcoholic beverage inside his car after he pulled up to the pump. A passenger was seen with the beer.

 

Falk opens season as runner-up

Former Thurston High standout Tyler Falk opened his junior season with the Northwest Christian men’s golf team earlier this month. Falk placed second individually at the Corban Invitational, despite carding a 76 on the first round.
