Meehan calls for pipeline risk assessment study

Meehan voted for a tax bill that pays for huge tax cuts for corporations with cuts to Medicaid and Medicare. Over 70 percent of the tax breaks in this bill go to the wealthiest 1 percent and multinational corporations already making record profits.

 

Tinicum man busted in series of armed robberies

TINICUM >> A township man was arrested on charges involving two armed robberies as well as vehicle theft in Tinicum, and a third armed robbery in Upper Chichester, authorities said. Ronald Ferrell, 41, of the Essington section of Tinicum, is being held at the county prison in lieu of posting bail, which was set at 10 percent of $500,000.

Providenc Animal Center Pet of the Week: Katie

4-month-old female Mixed Breed Say hello to Katie, the little girl with the huge ears who is looking for a forever home. Katie's ears stand straight up and resemble bat ears or some might be in the holiday spirit and say she looks like a holiday elf. She has a tail that goes a mile a minute because she is always so happy.

 

Providence Animal Center Pet of the Week: Minnie

2-year-old female Domestic shorthair Meet Minnie, the incredibly beautiful calico cat who is looking for the place she will call home. Minnie is black, orange and white, with pretty yellow eyes. She found herself homeless after her owners could no longer take care of her and she is waiting on adoption at Providence Animal Center in Media, which was formerly the Delco SPCA.

 

AFL Pet of the Week: Orange Julius

This special little guy turned up on a local resident's porch, just begging for attention (and food). Way too sweet to ignore, Julius soon found his way inside their house, where he is being fostered until his forever home can be found. He is quite healthy, has been vetted and given his shots, and is scheduled to be neutered before Christmas.
