Providence Animal Center Pet of the Week: Scooter

2-month-old male Domestic ShorthairSay hello to Scooter, the little boy who is looking for someone to take him in and show him what it means to have a home. Scooter is a white and brown tabby, who is full of life and spirit. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and brought to Providence Animal Center in Media, formerly the Delco SPCA, where Scooter and his little kitten buddies are waiting for their turn to find forever homes.

 

Providence Animal Center Pet of the Week: Roosevelt

8-year-old male Mixed Breed Meet Roosevelt, the distinguished gentleman who is hoping someone will make sure he never knows what it feels like to be given up on again. Roosevelt is a reddish tan color, with a white muzzle resembling a white beard. He was rescued from a local overcrowded shelter and brought to Providence Animal Center in Media, formerly the Delco SPCA, where he is waiting for a really great family to come along.

 

Francisvale Pet of the Week: Tink

This sweet kitty is absolutely gorgeous, and she will magically mesmerize you with her intensely communicative green eyes. Tink is a svelte 15 pounds of pure love. She is gentle, kind, and is the ambassador of friendship to everyone she meets. Tink channels her inner puppy and will follow you around like your best ever buddy.

Hello there - my name is Angel. I found myself at a local shelter and luckily PLDP scooped me up. I am a gorgeous Maine Coon mix. I am super friendly and love to be pet. I just love being with my person and will head butt for attention. Everyone I meet just adores me. I am pretty relaxed and like to lounge about.

Woman cops plea to $211G Medicaid fraud

MEDIA COURTHOUSE >> A Philadelphia woman who charged more than $211,000 for overlapping behavioral health services at three different agencies entered an open guilty plea to Medicaid fraud this week before Delaware County Court of Common Pleas Judge John Capuzzi."When people commit Medicaid fraud, they're stealing tax dollars from people who are in real need of these services," said Attorney General Josh Shapiro in a release announcing the plea.
