2 injured in ultralight aircraft crash in Concord; federal officials investigating

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating a July 27 crash-landing that involved an ultralight aircraft, the Chardon Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol has confirmed.Officials report it happened about 5 p.m. when the plane had engine troubles shortly after taking off.

Once a year for at least the last decade, the staff at Lake Metroparks' Penitentiary Glen Reservation in Kirtland open the wildlife rehabilitation center there to the public for an uncommon glimpse at what it takes to nurse injured and abandoned wildlife back to good health.
