Quincy’s city council voted unanimously Tuesday to ban the use, possession or sale of synthetic marijuana, joining a growing number of towns enacting such laws. Historian Anthony M. Sammarco will share an illustrated lecture and autograph his new book, The History of Howard Johnson's: How A Soda Fountain Became a Roadside Icon.
