Gillaspie becomes the 22nd player in the United Shore Professional Baseball League to sign with a MLB organization."Logan came into the USPBL as a 21-year-old converted catcher with limited pitching experience," said Orenduff.

Anchor Bay Triathlon marks 33rd year in New Baltimore

Athletes flooded into New Baltimore Saturday to put their skills to the test in the 2018 Anchor Bay Triathlon.Racers ranging in age from 16 to 67 competed in this year's event, which included a half-mile swim in the waters of Anchor Bay, as well as an 11-mile bike ride and 3-mile run along paths in and around the city's historic downtown.

 

Pair accused of stealing $700 worth of formula from Chesterfield Walmart

Chesterfield Township police are seeking information about a pair of men who allegedly stole nearly $700 worth of formula from the Walmart store on Marketplace Boulevard.At 2:30 a.m. April 30, two white males entered the Chesterfield Township Walmart store near Gratiot Avenue and Hall Road and put multiple cans of formula inside of a plastic tote.

U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow calls Trump's "bromance" with Putin "disturbing"

Michigan's two U.S. senators are reacting to Monday's meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The meeting, which took place in Helsinki, Finland, was for many in the U.S. House and Senate an opportunity for Trump to hold Putin accountable for U.S. national intelligence findings that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.
