A billboard in western Colorado that used caricatures to depict President Barack Obama as a terrorist, gangster, Mexican bandit and a gay man has been taken down.

A top aide to President Barack Obama discussed a possible administration job with a Colorado Democrat to try to keep him from running for the U.S. Senate against a candidate Obama had endorsed, the White House acknowledged on Thursday.
