Senh: I’m glad that I currently don’t get too many check-in’s on my twitter stream. I don’t find them useful at all. I use Facebook to keep in touch with people, and Twitter as pretty much an RSS reader and marketing tool. It makes more sense on Facebook, but not really on Twitter. Still, now that Facebook is doing check-ins, I doubt Twitter will be waiting too long to launch theirs.
Senh: These geolocation check-in sites/apps have been growing in popularity. I've seen a couple on my Twitter account. Still, I'm hesitant about using it. It's starting to get creepy. It's also beginning to be like The Matrix where everyone starts interacting in the virtual world instead of the REAL world with these virtual places.
Senh: I guess since Facebook put out the "Like" button, it's Twitter's turn to put a "Tweet" button. The only thing is it's kinda redundant to Tweetmeme's retweet button, which a lot of websites, including this one, are already using.
Senh: Sure, go ahead. Twitter's already jumping into this geolocation stuff. I don't use Foursquare, so I don't know what the big deal is. I feel kinda creeped out by it. I always get these twitter messages from people who use it giving out the location. I really don't want people to know where I am, personally.
