Yale and Princeton are more likely to give a definitive answer. From what you described Princeton sounds like the best fit so I would do Princeton early and the rest RD. He had some significant ecs happening now that he wanted to include on his application and he retook SAT in November with a higher score. He did update his Yale app, but felt he would stand out more among regular decision than EA that tend to be stronger candidates.

Yale requires two SAT II scores (in addition to the SAT I or the ACT with writing). So, the College Board will automatically send Yale all your SAT II scores AND all your SAT I scores at the same time – you do not have a choice in the matter. You can, however, opt to sent Yale your ACT scores, which I would recommend doing.
