- Recent Posts - Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington RailwayBlack spruce (and spruces in general) have quite shallow roots, and are susceptible to toppling by wind. As this would be an isolated tree, a moisture-tolerant fir such as Balsam Fir (Abies balsamea) would be better.
- The WW&F and Boothbay Railway Village announce "The Narrow Gauge ...For release: April 1, 2019 Fresh off their unprecedented Narrow Gauge Collection collaboration with Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum, the WW&F is pleased to announce today the Narrow Gauge Connection which will build 14.5 miles of new track between Sheepscot Station in Alna, Maine to Boothbay Railway Village in Boothbay, Maine.
- Edaville Equipment Roster, Ex-WWF/B&SR Flatcars?There's one bit on information listed that states that flatcars 30-33 were Ex-WWF;B&SR. Could this be a typo or did Edaville actually obtain flatcars from the WWF, possibly through the B&SR? Also note the last line on the paper stating that 8 other flatcars and 1 boxcar were dismantled and stored for future use.
