You say on Sunday, but at noon. In this case, the name of day of the week determines the use of on in the phrase: on Sunday noon. just like in: on Sunday night (on Sunday, but at night) You can also say Sunday noon, without the prepositon on, though. Not open for further replies. More @Wikipedia
