So first question, tech industry certifications vs degree. An example: let's say I get the Microsoft 365 Expert certification, which is a 3-star, or the Azure Architect certification, can I get a job in a company that uses these products, although I don't have a degree in IT? I agree that Bing and Bing Maps are not at the same quality as Google, but Windows > Chrome OS, Microsoft Office > Google Office, Xbox > Stadia. On enterprise level, Google is no match for Microsoft. When you look at ecosystem, you need to look at everything it offers (OS, Hardware, Web services).
- Would someone choose Google Workspace over Microsoft 365?I can't talk about Active Directory vs Google's solution and Azure vs GCP but gmail is a bazilion times better than outlook. Collaborative office like suite is way better on Google. Try writing an excel with multiple people then try out Sheets, and that's the best collaborative app MS has, Powerpoint/Word is way worse.
- Microsoft vs Google: Which ecosystem do you prefer and why?I've been experimenting with switching from Google to Microsoft ecosystem lately, but it feels strange. I've always liked Windows and Xbox, but I'm not sure about Edge, Outlook, and Office. They seem less user-friendly and reliable than Chrome, Gmail, and Docs. Maybe I need more time to adjust to the change.
