The NFL is off to a strong start in its TV ratings after drawing big numbers last season.

On Tuesday, Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lindsey Lohan to 90 days in jail. Today we're learning that TMZ.com's live broadcast of the hearing attracted record viewer numbers -- 2.3 million viewers to be exact, most of whom stuck around for 16.3 minutes.

Ratings for Game 1 of the NBA Finals are up from last year, highlighting the rivalry between the Lakers and the Celtics.

By John Consoli, The Wrap Reality shows were king last night over repeat scripted fare on the broadcast networks. Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" was in a virtual tie last night with NBC's "America's Got Talent" for the highest rated program of the night among adults 18-49 at a 2.8 each, but "Talent" clearly drew the most overall viewers, averaging 10 million compared to "Dance's" 7.3 million. "Dance" also won the night among adults 18-34 and teens.

By John Consoli, The WrapCBS continued its regular season total viewer dominance Monday night, kicking off the first week of the summer season by averaging 7.7 million viewers -- but Fox did not mimic its regular season 18-49 demo ratings, finishing fourth for the night with a paltry 0.9.

Wednesday's finale of "American Idol" handily beat the ratings competition but the audience of 24.2 million was about 15% smaller than last year's.

The finale was up 4 percent in total viewers over last week, averaging 9.3 million over a two-hour span that saw Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) sent off to an uncertain future on the international lam.
