SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Commissioner Jim Schaus couldn’t contain his enthusiasm during the Southern Conference football media day Monday at the Spartanburg Marriott. Schaus, who succeeded John Iamarino as league commissioner in June, has a passion for the game of football. He is coming off an 11-year stint as Ohio director of athletics during which the Bobcats made 10 bowl game appearances. He has a passion for the Southern Conference as well.
