Oh, certainly nothing to see here! Who wouldn’t resign the presidency of a state university if he got $1 million a year, plus health insurance, for the next four years? Wouldn’t we all like a job like that? Is this standard operating procedure at colleges? The chairman of the University of Florida Board of Trustees, Mori Hosseini, who approved this contract or addendum for Ben Sasse (who resigned after 17 months) must have free rein to spend the hard-earned dollars of UF students and parents. Now I can see why a college education is so expensive these days. Diane Miller, Plantation Grift and graft, Florida style Perhaps the governor and his minions are auditioning for starring roles in upcoming mattress commercials that ask “How do you sleep at night?” With the governor’s proposal to destroy our state parks by adding pickleball courts, golf courses and hotels, and paying Ben Sasse $1 million a year in salary after he looted the UF president’s office, and appointing two-time Broward County political loser Daniel Foganholi to the state Board of Education after he came in third in a three-way School Board race, it surely seems so. Do these men have any sense of shame or a scintilla of decency in their bodies?
