Kristen Wiig to lead Apple’s first comedy series According to The Hollywood Reporter, Apple has won a competitive bidding situation to acquire a 10-episode comedy series executive produced by and starring Kristen Wiig (Ghostbusters, Bridesmaids). Inspired by Curtis Sittenfeld’s forthcoming short-story collection “You Think It, I’ll Say It,” the tech giant’s first foray into scripted half-hour comedy hails from Reese Witherspoon’s production shingle Hello Sunshine.
