Kingsport Police Still Searching For City Man

KINGSPORT – The Kingsport Police Department is still looking for a 47-year-old Kingsport man who has been missing since December of last year. The missing man is Ronnie D. According to the police, the sister said no one in her family had seen or heard from Herring since December 2018, noting that her brother is currently homeless, but typically frequents the downtown and Lynn Garden areas of the city. The sister also said her brother may have traveled to Miami, Florida. After nearly three months, the KPD issued a press release Friday afternoon, letting the public know the investigation is still active and ongoing. “However, (Herring) is still missing and all leads have been exhausted,” the release states. KPD is asking anyone who sees Herring or who knows his current whereabouts is asked to contact the criminal investigations division at 423-229-9429 or Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. Herring is a 47 year old white male with black hair and brown eyes.
