BURLINGTON, N.C. — Anderson Bohorquez launched a tiebreaking, two-run home run and the Kingsport Mets survived a ninth-inning push by the Burlington Royals to pick up a 4-3 Appalachian League win on Tuesday night at Burlington Athletic Stadium. Bohorquez’s homer, which put the K-Mets up 3-1 in the top of the seventh, followed a two-out walk to Cristopher Pujols. Kingsport (5-3) produced an important insurance run in the eighth.
