GARLAND -- Nyang Wek handed his game-worn shoes to two young fans on the sideline last Thursday at Curtis Culwell Center after scoring 31 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. They looked on with glee as Wek signed his LeBrons and walked off in socks.Nate Morris was busy with a postgame interview in front of a large camera crew after notching 14 points and four blocks before fouling out.But Wek and Morris aren't popular NBA stars or college phenoms.Instead, the two basketball players who were on the brink of crashing out of the sport are a crucial part of the local Dallas Junior Basketball Association team. The JBA was founded last December by Lavar Ball, the father of Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball.
