Universal Pictures has picked up Todd R. Jones and Earl Richey Jones' script "Humbug" and has attached Ice Cube to star and Tim Story ("Ride Along," "Barbershop") to direct. The script is a contemporary retelling of Charles Dickens' classic story of a wealthy real estate mogul who is shown a path to redemption by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz will produce while the two Joneses will co-produce.
