CHURCH HILL — Anthony Lynn Housewright reportedly told police around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning he had parked in the middle of the eastbound lanes on Highway 11-W in Church Hill because “I was tired.”Housewright, 39, 135 Shelton Lane, Surgoinsville, also reportedly tried to exit the 2004 Buick he was driving while the motor was running and the transmission was in drive.That was the second time in two days that a Hawkins County sheriff’s deputy encountered a motorist parked in the middle of the roadway who was allegedly intoxicated on narcotics and/or alcohol to the point of unconsciousness.The first instance occurred Friday around 6:10 a.m.
