The fighting between Hezbollah and Israel has intensified in recent weeks. The Lebanese militia, which is also the country’s dominant political group, has regularly attacked Israel since Oct. 7, 2023, in solidarity with Hamas. In recent weeks, Israel has responded with a series of deadly pager and walkie talkie explosions, air raids against targets it says are linked to Hezbollah, and, a series of assassinations.

Parents sue Poudre School District over autistic students’ assault on a school bus

The parents of two Poudre School District students are suing the district and four administrators for employing a school bus paraprofessional with a known criminal history of child abuse who was sent to prison for assaulting children on the buses. The students, who are identified in the lawsuit only by their initials, were hit, kicked, pinched, poked, slapped and cursed at by Tyler Zanella, who was employed during the 2022-23 school year.

The project was announced Tuesday by Focus Features and Plan B, who are partnering on “Anemone.” The film, Ronan Day-Lewis’ directorial debut, will star his father along with Sean Bean and Samantha Morton.
