Grant Works To Derail Criminal Activity Along University Avenue Corridor

A three-year $150,000 grant used by Kettering University has resulted in the increase positive street activity along the University Avenue Corridor. The Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design grant funds projects which implement strategic community improvements for research purposes. Tom Wyatt, program manager for Renew the Avenue at Kettering, said the program is "kind of like an incubator."
