In a move that could anger cash-strapped county officials, Superintendent Peter Gorman is today unveiling a plan that asks the county to exempt Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from cuts that will fall heavily on other agencies and services.Gorman and his staff will present the plan at tonight's board meeting, which airs lives on CMS-TV Cable 3.Gorman's budget seeks $351 million from the county for 2009-10, the same amount it got last spring, before the economy tanked.
