Google has begun rolling out Android 15 to its Pixel devices, with a wave of new theft protection features, a private space for sensitive apps, as well as improvements for foldables and tablets. The operating system initially debuted last month via the Android Open Source Project, but it wasn’t yet accessible on Pixel phones, tablets, or other major Android devices. Among the major new features, a new Theft Detection Lock will use AI to help keep users’ data safe.
