Stories Related to Federal Judge Delays Sentencing For Former Cat Official Morris

A federal judge on Wednesday delayed sentencing for former Chatham Area Transit official Joel Morris after expressing concerns after last week’s guilty plea by former executive director Chadwick Reese. U.S. District Judge William T. Moore Jr. told attorneys for the government and Morris to provide the additional information he needs and he would reschedule sentencing for Morris. He indicated that both Morris and Reese would probably be sentenced at the same time after he received a pre-sentencing report for Reese.
