A prisoner who escaped from a South Carolina corrections facility was arrested in Appling after a passerby reported the man fighting with a woman on the side of the road. According to a news release from the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, police responded to the 6400 block of Cobbham Road around 11 a.m.
